According to a new survey conducted by Churchill Insurance individuals that drive professional for a living are less likely to have an accident when compared to other driver groups.

The study has revealed that computer engineers are more likely to make a claim on their car insurance than any other group. Sales managers followed next along with chefs, students and then doctors.

It was farmers who had the best road safety record then aircraft fitters, stores personnel and then ambulance drivers.

Drivers who had very stressful jobs have the worst records and more likely to be tired when driving their vehicle and therefore more likely to have an accident in their car.

If this continues then it looks good for van drivers to get cheaper commercial vehicle insurance for their van.
