A new electric powered van is to be manufactured by a company called Smith Electric Vehicles. Their new range of vans will offer van drivers exceptional efficiency.
This new venture has funding from the government that will help develop and manufacture an electric version of the Ford Transit van. This new type electric van will be able to travel over 120 miles on one fully charged battery, making it 20% more efficient than current vehicle.
The company is looking forward to developing a better auxiliary system for electric vehicles and delivering a range of vans that are capable for commercial electric vehicles.
One other way of reducing the cost of running an electric van is to shop around for a quality van insurance policy.
